Revenue, donations and third-party funding 2025
The foundation generates its own income through a wide range of services for its visitors and users. It also secures external funding for research projects, new acquisitions, exhibitions and other projects.

Revenue
The Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation generates revenue, for example, from admission fees and the sale of guided tours, from usage and loan fees, and from the sale of publications and merchandise. In 2025, this revenue totalled 21.4 million euros.

Financial and in-kind donations, and sponsorship
In order to improve its income situation, the Foundation is expanding its sponsorship partnerships with commercial enterprises. Since 2014, the Foundation has been supported by the Board of Trustees of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation. Income from sponsorship and donations amounted to around 317,000 euros in 2025.
Third-Party Funding
External funding
The Foundation and its institutions successfully seek external funding for their work. External funding is primarily raised for research projects, exhibitions, new acquisitions and restoration projects. In 2025, income from external funding amounted to around 7.5 million euros. In addition, there was around 12 million euros from withdrawals from third-party funding or transfers from the previous year.
