Pop-up vaccination centre at the Kulturforum
Press release from 01/18/2022
From 20 to 23 January 2022, vaccinations will take place in the foyer of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin at the Kulturforum.
Vaccination protects - including culture. That's why the SPK and Aino Betriebsmedizin GmbH will be setting up a pop-up vaccination centre at the Kulturforum (Matthäikirchplatz) from Thursday to Sunday. Vaccinations will take place during museum opening hours on Thursday and Friday from 10am to 6pm and on Saturday from 11am to 6pm. Registration via Doctolib: https://www.doctolib.de/institut/berlin/aino
The Comirnaty vaccine (Biontech / Pfizer) is available for vaccination. People who would like to be vaccinated can book an appointment via Doctolib. They will be tested in advance on site. The digital EU vaccination certificate is then automatically stored on Doctolib.
Hermann Parzinger, President of the SPK: "The SPK is also facing up to its social responsibility here and wants to support the process of immunising the population. After the SPK distributed protective materials on a large scale to the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians at the beginning of the pandemic in spring 2020 and cooperated with the DRK vaccination centres last summer with poster exhibitions, we are now also helping with the current vaccination campaign. We plan to continue such pop-up campaigns and also organise them at other locations."
People who have just been boostered during the vaccination campaign and people under the age of 18 who have just been vaccinated can visit the exhibitions of the National Museums in Berlin afterwards by booking a corresponding time slot ticket. In accordance with the SARS-CoV-2 Infection Protection Measures Ordinance of the State of Berlin, the 2G rule applies to visits to the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin: access to the museums is only possible with a digitally readable EU vaccination or recovery certificate (on a smartphone or as a printout) together with a valid photo ID. Visitors aged 6 and over are required to wear an FFP2 face mask in all indoor areas of the museums and to keep a minimum distance of 1.5 metres from other people.
