The Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz is committed to diversity. Our vision is to create a space in which diversity is lived and promoted. We are committed to a sustainable, respectful and non-discriminatory approach to individual diversity.

People from diverse backgrounds, cultures, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, and lifestyles are equally respected, valued, and supported.

Our measures:

  • By signing the “Diversity Charter,” the SPK has joined an initiative by employers to promote diversity in companies and institutions. Diversity Charter - For Diversity in the Workplace (charta-der-vielfalt.de)
  • In 2021, a working group on diversity was established. The working group has developed a diversity concept. It raises awareness of relevant issues across the foundation, organizes informational events, and advises employees affected by discrimination.
  • Beyond the legal requirements of the General Equal Treatment Act, the SPK commits itself, with regard to harassment, abuse of power, or discrimination, to taking all necessary measures to raise awareness and protect those affected, and to shield them from disadvantage. The SPK’s museums, libraries, archives, and research institutions have therefore defined a framework of values for themselves.ngsgesetzes hinaus, verpflichtet sich die SPK in Bezug auf Belästigung, Machtmissbrauch oder Diskriminierung, alle notwendigen Maßnahmen zur Sensibilisierung und zum Schutz der betroffenen Personen einzuleiten und diese vor Benachteiligung zu schützen. Die Museen, Bibliotheken, Archive und Forschungseinrichtungen der SPK haben deshalb einen Werterahmen für sich definiert.
