Lehmann becomes honorary professor at Humboldt University

Klaus-Dieter Lehmann, President of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation, has been appointed Honorary Professor of Library and Information Science at the Humboldt University in Berlin. He will devote himself in particular to the reorganisation of the chair in the areas of digital libraries, linking text culture and visual studies as well as modern management structures.
Lehmann has been associated with the university for a long time. He has been Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees for eight years. He will retire from this position in June.
Lehmann has been an Honorary Professor of Information Systems at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt am Main since 1986.
