The SPK will be partnering with Aino Betriebsmedizin GmbH to host a four-day pop-up vaccination center at the Kulturforum (Matthäikirchplatz). The center will operate during regular museum hours, from 10 am to 6 pm on Thursday and Friday, and from 11 am to 6 pm on Saturday. Appointments can be booked on the Doctolib website: www.doctolib.de/institut/berlin/aino.

The center will be offering the Comirnaty vaccine (Biontech/Pfizer). If you would like to get vaccinated, please book an appointment through Doctolib. You will be tested on arrival, and once you have received your vaccination, the EU Digital COVID Certificate will be automatically uploaded to Doctolib.

Hermann Parzinger, President of the Stiftung Preussischer Kulturbesitz, commented: “The SPK takes its social responsibilities seriously and is doing what it can to assist in the process of immunizing the population. This is just the latest initiative of many: At the beginning of the pandemic in the spring of 2020, the SPK made large donations of PPE and disinfectant to Germany’s Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians. Last summer, it displayed posters advertising the German Red Cross vaccination centers. And now, we’re helping out with the current vaccination campaign. We plan to continue hosting pop-up centers, here and at other museum locations.

Anyone who has received a booster shot at one of these centers, as well as anyone under 18 who has recently been vaccinated, can then visit exhibitions of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin (SMB, National Museums in Berlin) by booking a time slot at one of its museums. In accordance with the State of Berlin’s SARS-Cov-2 Infection Protection Measures Ordinance, the 2G rule will be in effect for visits to SMB museums. Before entering, visitors must present a digitally readable vaccination or recovery certificate (printed out or on their smartphone) together with a valid photo ID. Visitors aged six and over are required to wear an FFP2 face mask in all indoor areas of the museums and to maintain a distance of at least 1.5 meters from other people.
