On Tuesday, 1 November 2022, the Alte Nationalgalerie, including the Impressionist Hall, opens to the public as usual.

On Sunday, 30 October 2022, at approximately 3:50 pm, an individual in the “Impressionist Hall” threw a red liquid at the protectively glazed painting Clown by Henri de Touluse-Latrec and the nearby wall covering and then glued their hand to the wall next to the artwork.
