The partnerships between the Neue Nationalgalerie and the Hamburger Bahnhof – Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart and the Volkswagen Group, which have been in place since 2012, have been extended by two years. The focus is on supporting key exhibition projects and the “Volkswagen Group Art4All” initiative, which has been very well received – 400,000 people alone took advantage of the programme in 2025.

SPK President Marion Ackermann emphasises: “We would like to express our sincere thanks to the Volkswagen Group for its support. It opens the doors to art for visitors and provides lasting support for the promotion of education and culture. The participation of many people from a wide variety of backgrounds also strengthens cohesion in our democracy.”

From 2 April, the Neue Nationalgalerie will launch “Art4All”: every first Thursday of the month from 4 pm to 8 pm with free admission and an expanded programme. To kick things off, there will be a free concert on 2 April at 8 pm featuring pianist David Kadouch, who will perform works by Erik Satie in the context of the Brancusi exhibition.

As “Lead Partner of Education”, the Volkswagen Group will support the Hamburger Bahnhof in its educational and outreach work going forward. Activities for visitors, families and schools are accessible free of charge. The company also sponsors the museum’s annual Open House Days.
