The Humboldt Forum gains profile as an event venue
Press release from 12/20/2010
Today, in the presence of Hermann Parzinger, President of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation, Minister of State for Culture Bernd Neumann presented the new project manager Martin Heller and an international project team in the Altes Museum opposite the Schlossplatz, who will be developing a concept for events in the Humboldt Forum in the Berlin City Palace to be rebuilt over the next few years. The central event location there will be the so-called Agora.
Hermann Parzinger commented: "I am delighted that Martin Heller, an experienced and internationally networked cultural manager, has been recruited who, together with a suitable team, will give the future Humboldt Forum a profile as a venue. This will not only be relevant for the forthcoming detailed overall planning, but will also consolidate the concept of the Humboldt Forum in the eyes of the general public. I am sure that this will make the Humboldt Forum much more tangible than before."
