Despite a decline in tourism to Berlin and falling numbers of overnight stays, the museums of the Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz were able to keep their visitor numbers stable at around 3.6 million in 2025. The Berlin public and the great response to special exhibitions in particular contributed significantly to this. Around 40,000 annual tickets were sold - 2,000 more than in the previous year. They were used most frequently for the Neue Nationalgalerie, which was the most visited art museum in Berlin and Germany with 608,000 visits. The Hamburger Bahnhof also increased significantly and recorded around 445,000 visitors; the exhibition by Klára Hosnedlová was the most successful of the year with 280,000 visits.

SPK President Marion Ackermann expressed her satisfaction and announced that a large proportion of the additional funds from the federal and state governments would be invested in exhibition projects with a high public appeal. She also spoke in favour of reintroducing the free Berlin Museum Sunday in order to reach new target groups.
