The SPK and its Staatliche Museen zu Berlin (National Museums in Berlin) bring you SPOT, organized jointly with GERMAN ARTS. D-Nox & Beckers will perform on the roof of the Bode Museum, Rauschhaus on the roof of the Friedrichswerder Church. Electronic music in historical settings on a balmy summer evening: an innovative way to present Berlin as the perfect place to enjoy both classic culture and club culture.

Hermann Parzinger, President of the SPK, explains the background: “We are holding these events, organized by our partner GERMAN ARTS, to show our solidarity with the Berlin club scene, which is suffering as a result of the Corona crisis and which is an important part of the cultural landscape.”

Christina Haak, Deputy Director-General of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin: “I’d be delighted if SPOT opens up a completely new perspective on museums. It isn't uncommon for us to host musical events, but here, in response to the trouble caused by Corona, which is currently making it difficult to hold large events, we have launched a wonderful new series of events, which will be staged in places that are usually inaccessible.”
