How about vouchers for an annual ticket? These are available from as little as 25 euros - either online or at the museum ticket offices. If you also want to do something good, you can make a donation when you buy your ticket online and thus contribute to the promotion of educational and mediation work. Going to the museum between Christmas and New Year?
Around the festive season, the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin (National Museums in Berlin) offer numerous opportunities to have a great time and discover exhibitions - whether with family, friends or alone. Accompanied by the multimedia guide or an app. There are public guided tours, workshops and museum concerts. Or you can spend a few cosy hours in our museum cafés.
The museums are open as usual between Christmas and New Year. All museums are closed on Christmas Eve. On the Christmas holidays, the museums are open as on a Sunday.
On 1 January 2026, the museums will welcome their guests from 12 noon. Due to the great interest, the opening hours of the exhibition "The Scharf Collection" in the Alte Nationalgalerie have been extended at short notice, more detailed information:www.smb.museum/ang
