Annual press conference 2016

Today, the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation presented its plans for the coming year. The president and the directors of the five institutions presented new projects and announced outstanding exhibitions and events in 2016.
As every year, the annual press conference focussed on the Foundation's construction measures, including the new building for 20th century art at the Kulturforum. In addition, the Foundation provided comprehensive information on the current status of the plans for the presentation of the museums in the Humboldt Forum as well as numerous third-party funded projects in the areas of research and digitisation.
The speakers were:
- Hermann Parzinger, President of the SPK
- Michael Eissenhauer, Director General of the National Museums in Berlin
- Barbara Schneider-Kempf, Director General of the Berlin State Library
- Jürgen Kloosterhuis, Director of the Secret State Archives PK
- Barbara Göbel, Director of the Ibero-American Institute
- Thomas Ertelt, Director of the State Institute for Music Research
