Ambassador Benassi honours the President of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation with the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic
The President of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation, Hermann Parzinger, will be honoured with the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic (Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana - OMRI) on 14 September 2015. Ambassador Pietro Benassi will present the award at a ceremony in Berlin.
According to the embassy, the most important Italian order is awarded to personalities "in honour of services rendered to the country in the fields of literature, art, business, public office and activities with social and humanitarian aims, as well as for long and outstanding service in civil and military careers".
