President and Vice President

The President of the Stiftung Preussischer Kulturbesitz is arthistorian Dr. Marion Ackermann. It has had four other presidents before her. Gero Dimter took up the office of vice president in 2019.

The fifth president of the Stiftung Preussischer Kulturbesitz (Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation) is arthistorian  Dr. Marion Ackermann, who has held the office since 2025. Her Office as President brings with it many tasks, of which the most important are representing the Foundation and implementing the decisions that the Foundation Board has taken in consultation with the Advisory Board. She is also responsible for managing all current business.

Gero Dimter has been the vice president of the Stiftung Preussischer Kulturbesitz (Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation) since 2019. He previously worked at Kammergericht Berlin, the state’s highest court.

Former Presidents and Vice Presidents

Beginning in 1962, there are four former presidents of the Stiftung Preussischer Kulturbesitz: Hans-Georg Wormit, Werner Knopp, Klaus-Dieter Lehmann and Hermann Parzinger. There are three former vice presidents: Peter Hofmann, Norbert Zimmermann and Günther Schauerte. more
