Next year, we will be celebrating 200 years of the Museum Island Berlin, and Schinkel ‘s magnificent building will be at the centre of the celebrations: the foundation stone for the first public museum in Prussia was laid on 9 July 1825. The success story of the Museum Island Berlin began. Come and visit us!
