„Slices of Life“: Ethnographic Film Day at the Humboldt Forum on 2 June 2022

On Thursday, 2 June 2022 from 11 am to 9:45 pm, the Humboldt Forum, together with the German International Ethnographic Film Festival, will show seven films shot in Mali, Cameroon, India, Brazil, the USA and Papua New Guinea.
In ethnographic film, the strict separation between the filmmaker and the filmed subject is broken down. Each of the seven ethnographic films being shown at the Humboldt Forum were made by the people in front of as well as behind the camera, in a cooperative, creative way.…
