Cooperation with Scientific Institutions
The Stiftung Preussischer Kulturbesitz cultivates close, long-term cooperation with scientific institutions in various disciplines. It collaborates with them on different projects.
These cooperative projects are primarily concerned with making the Foundation’s holdings available and preserving them. This involves, for example, the scientific examination of items in the collections, conservation measures, and teaching, as well as exhibitions and publications.
The Foundation also participates in several research associations for the purpose of intense scientific collaboration. Most of the cooperation in specialized fields, however, is run on the level of the institutions. The Foundation’s museums, libraries, archives, and research institutes maintain networks in their own disciplines.
