Personnel Structure

Around 2,000 employees work at the Stiftung Preussischer Kulturbesitz (Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation) and in its five institutions. Three-quarters of them are salaried employees and one-quarter of them civil servants. Slightly more than half of our employees are women. Every year the Stiftung Preussischer Kulturbesitz trains around 70 young people in a wide range of traineeships, internships, and vocational training.

Personnel Development

The Foundation strengthens its employees’ competencies with an eye to current and future tasks. Employee interviews are held once a year. Each of the Foundation’s employees meets with his or her superior for a private conversation. This regular exchange is intended to ensure that every employee can develop his or her professional abilities and that individual career goals are taken into account. It is an important instrument of personnel development.

The Foundation offers its employees diverse opportunities for continuing education. They include specialist training, training in IT, communications, and management competencies as well as continuing education for the individual development of employees.
