On 16 August 2017 Nina Schallenberg joined the curatorial team of the Nationalgalerie at the Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart – Berlin.
Nina Schallenberg studied art history, philosophy and modern German literature in Berlin and Paris, and wrote her doctoral thesis at the Freie Universität Berlin on the mise en scène of the sculptures of Rodin, Rosso and Brancusi.
