Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Technik

The SPK and the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin work together in the areas of conservation, research, storage, and presentation of cultural heritage. It takes the form of both joint projects and teaching.

Cooperation with the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft (University of Applied Sciences, HTW) is primarily concerned with the archaeological disciplines. The Staatliche Museen zu Berlin (National Museums in Berlin) and the HTW have collaborated on thesis advising in the PhD program in Material Culture and Object Studies (MaCOS) at the Berliner Antike-Kolleg that the Stiftung Preussischer Kulturbesitz (Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation) manages. They work together in the area of the conservation of diverse holdings as well.
