  • The federal and state governments of Germany provide the funds necessary to cover the budget for the Foundation’s work. This joint commitment underscores the national importance of Prussian cultural heritage.

    Sponsorship and Financing

    The federal government and all the states finance the Foundation and also work together on its committees. Together they care for the holdings and the development of the Stiftung Preussischer Kulturbesitz. more

    The 2016 Budget

    The budget of the Stiftung Preussischer Kulturbesitz is divided into an operating budget and a construction budget. The budget plan for 2016 includes total expenditures of 289,259,000 euros. more

    Income, Donations and Third-Party Funds in 2015

    The Foundation brings in its own revenue by offering diverse services to its visitors and users. It also applies to third parties for funding for research projects, new acquisitions, exhibitions, and other projects. more
