SPK Institutions

Five institutions unite within the Foundation: the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin, the Geheimes Staatsarchiv PK, the Ibero-Amerikanisches Institut, and the Staatliches Institut für Musikforschung.

The institutions include the museum, archive and library fields. They also include a variety of research institutes, the Gipsformerei (Replica Workshop), and the the bpk Bildagentur / Bildagentur der Kultureinrichtungen (Picture Agency bpk - Image Bank of Cultural Institutions). With their universal collections and diverse projects for scholarly exploration and research of their holdings, the Foundation’s institutions are unique archives of knowledge.
